Goin' Home Outfit

Just thought I'd share a picture of what our little Kansas baby will be coming home in. And a special thanks to Aunt Laurie for making the very cute and fitting ruby slippers.

Quick Update

I had another NST today and everything went well. Emily is doing well and some of my test results have improved. While this is all good, it means, no baby this week. Well unless Emily decides it's time. Now we just continue to monitor me and baby to make sure everything is still doing well. One more NST this week, and lucky me a doctor's appt every day next week for various things: NST's, ultrasounds, regular visits and more!

37.3

I am now 37 weeks and 3 days. Unfortunately I have developed preeclampsia so until Emily decides to grace us with her presence, I will be in bed. It’s been about a week and I hope she comes soon because I’m going crazy! It’s amazing how fast you get tired of sitting. I have another appointment on Monday, and then they will decide if they are going to put me out of my misery or let me continue to rot on the couch. I am hoping for an induction some time next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Emily is still very active and my stomach has started to lean oddly to the right. Rob has become quite the Mr. Mom and he has done all the cooking and cleaning. We haven’t even ordered out, and he is branching out from soup and grilled cheese. Hopefully we will have a baby soon so I’ll have something other than my big belly to photograph.

36 Weeks and Counting

I had my 36 week appointment today. All is well and Emily is still closed tightly inside. But who knows, it still could be any day now. Here is a picture of me today, our watch dog Buddy, and Annabelle, our nap dog. Can you tell which one is which?

Front of house, Front of me

As requested here is a picture of the front of our new house. No one will ever have a hard time finding it thanks to the quite large army sign out front. And here is a picture of me at 25 weeks. Not much longer to go now!

Rob's new building adventure

Now that we have a garage Rob is getting quite handy. His first task, after taking apart half the washer to fix it, was to build a work bench. And I of course thought it should be documented. This new bench of course warranted the need to buy a whole new line of power tools. By the time we leave Kansas I believe there may be a new third level to our house if this continues. And to show the folks at home how large I have grown I asked him to take a picture of me too, of course he had a few stipulations before he would take a picture of me. So here it is and it just screams Rob humor.
